The Treatment
Dark to light, on purpose. The blend is where the craft lives.
Start with a consultationOmbre is a gradient: deeper at the root, lighter at the ends, with the transition worked until no line survives. Done well it is dramatic and deliberate; done badly it is two colors wearing the same head. The whole service is really about the middle, the hand-blended zone where depth gives way to light.
Because the root stays your own depth, ombre is one of the lowest-upkeep ways to wear a bold change. It suits guests who want the transformation without surrendering their calendar to it.

Book the call
Choose a consultation slot on the calendar. She asks about your hair, your history, and what you want, then quotes the service and the time it needs. The $40 hold comes off your service.

The gradient
The transition point is chosen for your length and your face, then the lightening is worked upward from the ends with the middle blended by hand until no line survives.
- iii.
Tone and finish
The lightened length is toned to the finish you chose, then dried and styled so you see the gradient move the way it will in daylight.

Questions
About ombre
Anything not answered here gets answered on your consultation call.
What is the difference between ombre and balayage?
Ombre is a destination, a gradient from dark roots to light ends. Balayage is a technique, freehand painting, and it is often used to build the ombre blend. If you want a visible transformation, ombre; if you want sunlight, balayage.
Will ombre look striped?
Not from this chair. The middle of the gradient is blended by hand until no band survives, which is the difference between an ombre and a grow-out.
Does ombre suit dark hair?
Beautifully, and it is one of the most requested ways to wear lightness on a deep base, because the root stays untouched and honest. The end tone is chosen to flatter your depth.
How much upkeep does ombre need?
Less than almost any other color service. Your root is your own color, so there is no regrowth line; visits are set by how the toned ends are wearing.
What does ombre cost?
It depends on length and the amount of lightening the gradient needs, and it is quoted on your consultation call, with the $40 fee credited to the service.
