Dimension is placed, not scattered. Light where it lifts you, depth where it frames.

The Treatment

Dimension is placed, not scattered. Light where it lifts you, depth where it frames.

Start with a consultation

Highlights brighten, lowlights deepen, and the craft is in where each one goes. Foils are placed for your cut, your parting, and your face, so the brightness lands where light would naturally find you and the depth sits where it frames. Fine foils read as expensive; wide stripes read as a mistake. She works fine.

The pattern is also planned for its future: how it looks at week six, how it blends when your natural color returns, and how the next appointment builds on this one instead of starting over.

At the mirror she maps the placement: where light should land, where depth should sit, and how the pattern will grow out between visits.

    Foils, tone, finish

Sectioned and foiled, processed with the timing watched closely, then toned so the lift lands on the exact finish you agreed on, warm or cool, and styled to show it.

Questions

About highlights & lowlights

Anything not answered here gets answered on your consultation call.

What is the difference between highlights and lowlights?

Highlights lift sections lighter than your base; lowlights weave in sections deeper than it. Most dimensional color uses both, so the result reads as depth and light rather than stripes.

How is this different from balayage?

Foils saturate the hair fully and lift more evenly, which suits brighter, more uniform results. Balayage is hand-painted for a softer, more lived-in finish with a gentler grow-out. The call settles which serves the picture in your head.

Will highlights suit my texture?

Yes, and placement is adjusted for it. Curl pattern changes where light actually lands, and the foils are mapped to the hair you have, not a diagram.

How often do highlights need redoing?

Every eight to twelve weeks for most guests. Because the placement is planned for its grow-out, the weeks in between look intentional rather than neglected.

What do highlights cost?

It depends on how much of the head is foiled and the length involved, so pricing is quoted on your consultation call, with the $40 fee credited to the service.
